Learn to wheel-throw basic ceramic forms. Decorating, glazing and firing techniques will be covered. Emphasis on developing a personal sense of form using sound fundamental skills. The class is conducted over the course of four consecutive Wednesdays. Beginners are welcome, no prior ceramics experience necessary!

Raquel has taught workshops at Gutenberg Arts for over 5 years. Starting as an Intern that never left - she continues to assist in several child based art programs ranging from Ceramics to Monotype in and out of the Studio. As a Fall STAR Resident, Raquel is focusing on using 3D Printed Elements and integrating them in Ceramics.
