Throughout this one-day class, you'll learn fundamental techniques such as handling the airbrush, how the tool and its pieces work, controlling paint and airflow, using stencils/masking, and creating basic shapes and gradients. Dive into the essentials of color theory and composition as you get a chance to express your creativity on paper. Whether you're interested in automotive design, fine art, or customizing apparel, or want to add an interesting element to your painting practice, this class will provide you with a solid foundation to unleash your artistic potential through the versatile medium of airbrushing. Paper will be provided but bring any t-shirts, clothing, or other apparel from home that you wish to airbrush!

About me: I, Billy Maloney, am a Brooklyn Artist and HS Art Teacher with a Masters Degree in Art Education. I am currently completing an Artist Residency at Guttenberg Arts focusing on monotype printing. My art practice extends to painting, airbrushing, printmaking, and sculpture.
